MONSTER JAM!!

So there we were, smack-dab in the middle of monster truck heaven with 22 ounce Coronas and the anticipation of an 18 year old at his first bachelor party. Okay, that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but we were stoked nonetheless. We didn’t know the trucks, we didn’t know of the drivers; heck, we didn’t even know what happened at a Monster truck show other than what we saw on a muted screen at a brewery.
One thing is for sure, though, Lutes was at Phoenix Supercross while we were monster truckin’ it up… and he was jealous. So, we are going back. That’s right, we haven’t had enough yet. Seriously, there was a truck shaped like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and another one shaped like a dinosaur! If that wasn’t enough… Grave Digger. Yep, Grave Digger. And thankfully, there’s another Jam the week of Houston Supercross (and Swap is covering that race, so Lutes, Dave, and I are pumped!).

I just go to hear the deep-voiced announcer say “MONSTER JAM!!!” and “GRAVE DIGGER!!!” Also a reason for attending supercross races, though slightly modified: “AMA SUPERCROSS!!!” and “CHAD REED!!!”
